On the 27th October 2001 I attended the NMRA British Region Convention in Northampton, England. I took a few photos, but as usual have only been able to develop them now as it takes me a while to finish a spool. But finally, here they are

Feather River Canyon by Peter Pedlow (N scale)
This N scale layout captures the atmosphere of railroading along the former Western Pacific tracks through Feather River Canyon. The excellent videos from SPV inspired and greatly helped the construction of this layout which was featured as 'Railway of the Month' in the March 2000 edition of Continental Modeller |

Elk River Crossing by John Cox (N scale)
The crossing is somewhere near Elk Mountain in the Glacier National Park. The depot is a division point where it is possible to cross trains and change crews as well as being a junction with a branch that goes up the valley on the other side of the river, serving a mine further up the valley. The layout is 8' x 2' in N scale |
