For those who are
interested, here is some info about me.
My name is Peter Borcherds and I am 32 yrs old. I am originally
from Cape Town, South Africa, but at the moment I am living in London,
England with my wife, Lisa. My main interests are Model & Steam Railroading,
3D Graphics and Web Design.
I studied Marketing & Advertising at the AAA School of Advertising
in Cape Town, South Africa, then for 3 years worked in the Admin department
at Saxenburg Wine Farm, near Stellenbosch in the Western Cape Wine
Region of South Africa, and I did some freelance Web Design work as
well. In May 1999 I moved to London and finally got a job doing Web
Design for a small New Media company. From there I moved to a larger
Internet Company working as a contract Web Designer. I stayed there
for 5 months till my contract expired. I have now started my own web development company, Paliz Design, and am now working from home.
We are now living in a small house in Walton-On-Thames, Surrey, and finally
I have some space to build my layout. I am in the process of building
a small HO scale waterfront switching layout, the Paliz Bay Railway
& Navigation Co.
