Model Railroading is one hobby that utilises
talents from many areas, such as art, architecture, landscaping
and model building. It can teach history, and by re-creating
scenes from years back can act as a sort of museum - showing
people what life was like during a certain period, or what the
architecture or industries of the time were like. But most important
of all, it is a very sociable hobby, bringing people from all
walks of life together through the common enjoyment of railroading.
